Description 1988-1990 Dodge Cummins Non-Intercooled 5.9L Diesel Fuel Injector 7mm Nozzle Huckstorf Diesel part number 0432133874 is a diesel fuel injector with a 7 mm nozzle tip for 1988-1990 Dodge trucks having a Cummins 5.9L diesel engine that does not have an intercooler. CDC #’s 3919347, 3802365RX Chrysler/Mopar #’s R4720540 This injector fits 1988-1990 non-intercooled engines that have a 7mm injector tip opening in the cylinder head. These Dodge Cummins fuel injectors can be used with the original 9mm cylinder heads, but you must also purchase 6 injector sleeve adapters part # 3919358. Due to cracking issues there was an upgraded cylinder head and injector combination using the smaller 7mm nozzle tip instead of the 9mm. These are the correct injectors that would be used if the cylinder head upgrade was performed. These injectors are rebuilt by Huckstorf Diesel with brand-new Bosch nozzle tips and set to the proper opening pressures. 245-255 Bar or 3553-3698 PSI 6 Required for a full set. Each injector includes a nozzle gasket, return line gaskets, and dust shield. Nozzle gasket number = 2430105009 or F00VC17503. 9 mm x 1.5 mm. There are lower cost alternatives out there but the lower quality is not worth the savings! The injectors are critical in the proper operation of a diesel engine. The spray pattern of fuel into the cylinder has determines how the fuel and air mix and burn. If the angle and the atomization of the fuel is not perfect, performance and mileage will suffer. Huckstorf Diesel sets the opening pressures to a very tight tolerance for balanced sets and smoother running engines. Core Charges This part requires an acceptable matching rebuildable core be sent in to avoid paying the core charges. With Core Option = Means you will pay the core charge up front, and when an acceptable core is returned to Huckstorf Diesel the core charge will be refunded back to you. An acceptable matching core must be received within 30 days of the ship date to receive full core credit. Without Core Option = An acceptable matching core must be received before the exchange is sent out. An acceptable core is one that is rebuildable with typical replacement parts. Major damage such as rust, housing damage, critical broken parts will be cause for partial or no core refund.
