This pair of wires is for the M3 Sport Button which can be added to a non-M E46 while swapping to a S54 with the M3 Switch Center that has the Sport Button. Originally this item, and the picture, is of salvaged wires removed from a LHD E46 M3 chassis harness that was being thinned for a racecar. However, due to more demand for this item than we can salvage original wires, we are currently selling newly produced wires that are of the same wire type and size, with the appropriate pins crimped on them. The only difference is that the wire colors are slightly different than OEM. These two loose wires with the appropriate pins crimped onto will go between the X60004, 40-pin, Black connector of the A6000 – DME, and the X1869, 23-pin, Black/Brown connector of the A169 – Switch Center. Wiring Details: 0.35mm² (Used) Black/Red/Yellow or (New) Black – X60004-15 to X1869-17 0.35mm² (Used) Black/Gray/Yellow or (New) Gray/Black – X60004-16 to X1869-18 Notes: – The pins used at the X60004 and X1869 connectors are similar but different! If these pins require any force to be inserted into the connector you likely have them mixed up. You can compare the loose pins on these wires to other pins within the connectors, without depinning any other wires. – As we are able to salvage more of the OEM wires we will switch back to offering that as they will be the correct colors and at a slightly lower price.
