Carmen Gomes is an artist who when she sings manages to give you many emotions. Her voice is unique and fantastic. I did not know her before and only now that I have listened to this album I realize that she is a singer with all the trimmings. The songs on this album are a combination of different styles. A Jazz and World Music blend that gives you a compelling sound. The success of this work was also brought about by a single Josephson C700S Stereo Microphone. It is a unique device capable of capturing sounds in their true nature. Sound Liaison possesses great expertise in this field, and always manages to make recordings that are State of the Art. I have purchased other albums from this label and I can confirm that they are all very well recorded. The sound is natural and fascinating. Being able to record with just one microphone is not easy, but they do it great! Well done. Good music.
