Description 1992-1993 Chevrolet GMC 6.5L Diesel Exchange Turbocharger GM3 Huckstorf Diesel part number GM3 is a rebuilt turbocharger for 1992-1993 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with 6.5L diesel engines. Huckstorf Diesel rebuilds exchange GM3 turbochargers for the 1992-1993 6.5 Chevy/GMC GM 6.5L diesel engines. These turbos are rebuilt using all the necessary parts to make them perform as good as, or better than new. Our technicians carefully inspect each part. All parts that don’t pass our strict criteria get replaced. We do not install inferior, lower quality, less expensive parts. Each turbo is carefully balanced and reassembled to give you the optimal performance. This is a rebuilt exchange turbocharger used on 1992-1993 GM 6.5L engines. The GM part number is 10226226 or 12521577. Necessary turbo O-rings and or mounting gaskets are included. We can rebuild your turbo if needed in case we are out of stock and waiting for cores to be returned. The GM3 turbo is a IHI RHB62B unit that was a factory-installed turbocharger and replaced the earlier GM1 & GM2 models. It is designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, requiring no modifications. Engine: 6.5L Detroit Diesel V8 engine. Vehicles: 1992-1993 Chevrolet and GMC C2500, C3500, K2500, K3500 pickups and Suburban models. Condition: It is recommended to clean or replace the turbo oil feed line and prime the center bearing during installation for improved reliability. If we do not show availability in stock, we are waiting for cores to be returned and / or do not have one to rebuild. We can rebuild and return yours and core charges are not required. Core Charges This part requires an acceptable matching rebuildable core be sent in to avoid paying the core charges. With Core Option = Means you will pay the core charge up front, and when an acceptable core is returned to Huckstorf Diesel the core charge will be refunded back to you. An acceptable matching core must be received within 30 days of the ship date to receive full core credit. (Unless special arrangements are made.) Our goal is to get the part back so we can make it available again for the next customer. Without Core Option = An acceptable matching core must be received before the exchange is sent out. An acceptable core is one that is rebuildable with typical replacement parts. Major damage such as rust, housing damage, critical broken parts will be a reason for partial or no core refund. If you have any questions about this policy, please call or send your turbo in first for inspection. Normally, a turbo that comes off a running engine in need of typical repairs is fine. Turbochargers that sat for years in junkyards, fire damaged, collision damaged, etc. may not be accepted. If we do not have this part in stock, don’t worry. Huckstorf Diesel receives shipments from our suppliers daily. We also have the ability to get parts drop-shipped directly to you from the closest warehouse or the manufacturer.
