1994-2002 GM 6.5L Diesel 8 inch Black PMD Extension Harness

Description 1994-2002 GM 6.5L Diesel 8 inch Black PMD Extension Harness / Extension Cable Huckstorf Diesel part number 105192 is an 8-inch extension harness that allows a black pump-mounted driver PMD to be relocated away from the injection pump onto a cooler mounted on top of the intake manifold on 1994-2002 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the 6.5L diesel engine. When relocating the pump-mounted driver “PMD” onto an intake-mounted cooler, this made in the USA eight-inch Black PMD extension harness makes the job easy.  When the injection pump was installed, the wire harness may have been routed in a way that causes it not to reach the new PMD on the cooler, or the PMD on the injection pump is gray colored and the new PMD is black.  If this is the case, the black wire connection is different from the gray and this extension harness will work as the adapter to make it work. This harness extends the factory wiring harness between the GM 6.5L diesel injection pump and a remote-mounted PMD (pump-mounted driver) 8 inches.  This harness uses the original style ends found on black colored PMD’s.  This harness can be used with the newer gray style Stanadyne PMD with slight trimming on the PMD plug end.  This is the correct harness if your stock harness will not reach the PMD on a cooler mounted to the intake manifold.
