Description Stanadyne PMD Heat Transferring Gasket for GM 6.5 Injection Pumps Stanadyne 30598 This is the heat transferring gasket used on GM 6.5L diesel engines that goes between the PMD (pump mounted driver) and the cooler or injection pump body. It is important to use a gasket to improve the ability for the heat from the PMD to transfer to the cooler because there will always be slight blemishes on both surfaces. New PMD’s come with a gasket.
