The E46 came with two different styles of clutch switches; up to 03/2001 had two plunger style clutch pedal switches activated by the clutch pedal, while from 03/2001 had this clutch switch module which clips onto the clutch master cylinder. These clutch switch modules have been removed from non-M E46 that were being converted to race cars while also removing EWS. These clutch switch modules are used on many different models of BMW’s.
