Two of my favorite piano concertos played and recorded spectacularly! Both are stirring performances. Saint Saens reportedly was an excellent pianist. IMO, Ms. Bartal rises to the challenges of his concerto, as well as to Grieg’s also gorgeous concerto. I look forward to more recordings by Ms. Bartal! Native’s conversion to DSD 512 definitely adds clarity and presence to a very good DSD 256 recording.
