I own all of Anna Fedorova’s recordings available at Native DSD and enjoy every one. This Rachmaninoff 3 is gorgeously played by pianist and orchestra, and beautifully recorded by Jared Sacks and the Channel Classics team. Rachmaninoff Concertos are among my favorites. In my initial listening, it seems that Fedorova displays even more personality in this performance. But I haven’t done a side-by side comparison yet. I want to stand up and applaud at the conclusion. The Symphony and Messenger are very enjoyable and equally well recorded.
