The Blue Hour Sessions: Audiophile Jazz Recordings [Pure DSD]

I downloaded the DSD 256 version of this album and enjoyed this beautiful Jazz Trio on my audio setup. The technical quality of this recording is impeccable in all respects. From an artistic point of view I would define it as Twilight Jazz that highlights the state of mind of the musicians, especially the pianist, He stands out in the entire succession of tracks with a dreamy, meditative touch. Certainly appreciated by purist audiophiles who love to combine the technical and artistic beauty of recordings, I appreciated the Double Bass recording method in its naturalness and unemphasized timbral correctness as often happens in modern recordings, leaving due sonic space for the piano which represents the common thread of this narrative. Surely for the ability to excite the listener it definitely deserves the Album of the Year Award for Best Jazz DSD album. ============================================================================================================================================ Ho scaricato la versione DSD 256 e asoltato questo splendido trio jazz con un impianto molto importante che è il mio. La qualità tecnica di questa registrazione è impeccabile sotto tutti i punti di vista. Da un punto di vista artistico lo definirei un jazz crepuscolare che mette in evidenza lo stato d’animo dei musicisti in particolare del pianista che spicca nella intera successione delle tracce , un tocco sognante, meditativo direi onirico. Sicuramente apprezzato dagli audiofili puristi che amano accoppiare la bellezza tecnica ed artistica delle registrazioni, ho apprezzato la modalità di registrazione del contrabasso nella sua naturalezza e correttezza timbrica mai enfatizzato come spesso accade nelle moderne registrazioni lasciando il dovuto spazio sonoro al pianoforte che rappresenta il filo conduttore di questa narrazzione. Sicuramente per la capacità di emozionare l’ascoltatore merita sicuramente il premio come migliore album DSD jazz 2025. Grazie per l’attenzione
