Description Revive your leather with tallow! Crafted to revive, protect, and nourish, our all-natural leather protector balm is your go-to solution for restoring the beauty and longevity of your favourite leather goods. Suitable for boots, wallets, belts, bags, dog collars, jackets, saddles, furniture, motorcycle seats, and equestrian gear — ideal for all smooth leather items. Always perform a test patch first, as each leather type is unique. At the heart of our formula is premium grass-fed tallow from cattle on our farm. Rich in natural fats, tallow deeply penetrates leather fibres to soften, moisturise, and strengthen from within. It helps restore suppleness, enhances flexibility, and brings back the rich depth and natural sheen that only quality leather can offer. Tallow also creates a breathable, protective layer that guards against cracking, drying, and the elements, ensuring your leather ages beautifully rather than deteriorates. We combine this remarkable ingredient with pure Australian beeswax from our hives, harnessing its natural antibacterial and moisture-sealing properties. Pure beeswax helps lock in nourishment, adds gentle water resistance, and protects against everyday wear while enhancing texture and feel. Blended with high-quality butters and natural oils, our balm delivers a rich, creamy treatment free from synthetic additives. The result? Leather that looks refreshed, feels supple, and stays protected for longer — naturally. How do I use leather protector balm? Firstly, give your leather a clean with about a litre of warm water, mixed with a tablespoon of soap, a few drops of vinegar. This will pre-wash the leather. Let it completely dry before treating your leather. Extract a tiny blob of leather balm (a little goes a long way) onto a soft clean dry cloth and softly rub it into a test patch to preview the results before applying more. Once you are satisfied with the test patch, softly massage the leather balm in to the rest of the item. If the leather hasn’t been conditioned for a long time you may need to reapply, let that dry and then see if you need to reapply again. All leather is different so always do a test patch first to ensure the leather balm is right for your leather product. Some leathers may darken but usually go back to their natural colour in 24 hours. Do not consume. Our Quality Ensure to buy only the best quality leather. Faux leather cannot be conditioned since it is made from synthetic materials. Beeswax is one of nature’s most amazing products! The beeswax comes directly from uncapping our honey frames from our hives. It often varies in colour but is majority yellow. It can be used in a very extensive list of projects. All our beeswax has been lovingly hand-melted with steam and double-filtered but may still contain pollen and honey remnants. Beeswax is often yellow due to the variety of nectar, pollen, and resins gathered by the bees to make the wax and also by thousands of little bee feet walking on the frames every day. When fresh beeswax is first built in the hive it can also be white. Our happy hives are located on suburban and rural properties from Brisbane to Gympie. We use no chemicals in the management of our bees or the processing of our raw honey or pure beeswax. We are organically minded in every step of our beekeeping journey. When you buy any of our products you are supporting a local family of beekeepers that support an important industry and other family-run businesses. Dream big for local impact!
