The best winter wheat varieties and the purest glacial water of Lake Ladoga are used to produce Russian Standard Platinum vodka. Thanks to four-fold distillation and additional two-fold purification using silver filters, it has a pure and soft taste. “Russian Standard” is a premium vodka brand owned by the Roust holding. The undisputed leader with a 40% share in the domestic premium alcohol market, “Russian Standard” has gained a strong international position and is recognized as the No. 1 Russian vodka in the world. The brand was created in 1998 and from the very beginning became a benchmark for the Russian vodka industry in terms of quality. In 2006, a plant equipped with the latest technology began operating in St. Petersburg, and in 2011, its own alcohol production was launched in Buinsk (Tatarstan). Now the company is the only premium vodka producer in Russia with a vertical, total multi-stage control “from grain to drop”. The company’s products are made using glacial water from the ecologically clean Lake Ladoga. Luxury alcohol, which is produced at its own plant in Tatarstan from selected wheat from the Black Earth Region, exceeds EU requirements in purity by 100 times. Russian Standard vodka is exported to 85 countries and sold in 1,000 airports through duty free channels.
