This connector fits the BMW S54 VANOS Adjustment Unit and comes in multiple keyways corresponding to different colors; Black, Blue, Brown, Gray, and Teal. – The Brown connector has the same keyway as the Black connector, except that pin locations 2, 3 and 6 are blocked off in the brown connector. If using the black connector in place of a brown connector you will need to insert the blank plugs into these cavities. – The Teal connector, available here, has a universal keyway which allows it to plug into any mating receptacle regardless of what keyway it has.
