The OBDII Socket is a standardized connector found in nearly all vehicles since 1996. Many different manufactures make OBDII connectors in multiple different styles. Provided that you use the corresponding pins for the style of OBDII connector that you’ll be using, it can be installed in just about any vehicle unless there is a specific mounting requirement or the need of bridged pins via a cover. We only use one of these two styles of BMW OBDII Connectors depending on the installation.
