Description 1994-2004 Dodge 5.9L Cummins Diesel 950 HP Competition Dual Disc Clutch Kit NV5600 South Bend Clutch part number DDC3850-5K competition dual disc clutch and flywheel upgrade kit for 1994-2004 Dodge trucks with the 5.9L Cummins diesel engine and NV5600 manual transmission. All the clutch components in this assembly are made of steel. The center plate is lugged to fit the flywheel. This complete clutch has no special requirements for installation. It is a direct replacement of the OEM clutch. Dodge 5 speeds will, however, require a 1 3/8″ input shaft upgrade.  (The input shaft is included at this price.  This kit is available without the shaft for less if you have already upgraded.  All flywheels will have a bronze/feramic insert that will be removable. This feature will allow the replacement of the insert, instead of the flywheel, when it is time to be rebuilt. Lever type pressure plate with heavy increase in pedal pressure, 12 feramic buttons per side of the disc, 900 hp (good for extreme sled pulling). This clutch does require hydraulic upgrades. The competition dual disc is intended for competition use in sled pulling. This clutch is designed for up to 950 HP and 1600 Ft-Lbs of torque.
